Extended Service Coverage (ESC) for new machines is the only service plan designed specifically for buyers of new Cat machines, providing the highest level of repair cost protection available. Adding in an Extended Service Coverage plan enhance and sustain your entire ownership experience with comprehensive coverage and total peace of mind.
You buy the best in heavy equipment and machinery because you can count on it to get the job done. Caterpillar secures your investment with a standard warranty that provides 12 months of worry-free operation, and for some compact equipment models, 24 months. But the lifespan of Cat machines well exceeds that timeframe, so NMC offers ESC, which protects you for the long haul. Extended Service Coverage wraps around the factory warranty, ensuring that your investment is safeguarded beyond the standard period.
With three levels of coverage, you choose the option that best suits your needs and your budget— whether Powertrain, Powertrain+Hydraulic, Powertrain+Hydraulic+Technology or the most comprehensive Premier ESC. Each will add valuable years and hours of operation to your standard warranty period, keeping major repair costs from negatively impacting your bottom line. ESC provides additional coverage (beyond the standard warranty period) for major powertrain components. Machine extended coverage is also transferable.

Power System Extended Service Coverage (ESC) offers coverage beyond the standard warranty period and, because it is transferable, it may increase the resale value of your Cat powered truck or gen set.
ESC offers protection against unexpected repair bills and a hedge against rising parts and labor costs by providing 100 percent parts and labor reimbursement for covered components, less any applicable deductible. The broad range of coverage options, which can be customized to suit your individual needs, combined with simple pricing terms provides confidence and peace of mind towards your Power System’s performance today and tomorrow.
Power System ESC is available for Electric Power, Industrial, Marine, Petroleum and On-Highway Trucks.
