INSURANCE
PROTECT YOUR BUSINESS WITH RENTAL EQUIPMENT PROTECTION FROM NMC.
A rental equipment protection plan is not an insurance policy. It is for you and your company, to cover the repair or replacement costs resulting from equipment damages or theft, that can occur during an equipment rental. An equipment protection program provides you with financial protection and peace of mind.
In the event of a covered loss, the program provider steps in to cover the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged equipment. Without it, you are responsible for the cost of replacing the equipment. You may have insurance coverage, but you are responsible for your policies deductible and the claim becomes a part of your policy history.

Why Do I Need a Rental Equipment Protection Plan?
We strongly recommend that all of our rental customers purchase rental insurance along with our rental equipment protection plan for their Cat® equipment. Even the most experienced industry professionals can run into unexpected damage and other problems with their machinery — which can turn into costly repairs and replacements without an equipment protection plan.
Even if you have rental insurance through your employer, it won’t cover everything. Plus, you may get stuck paying a high deductible in the event that equipment gets damaged. But with our rental equipment protection plan, most of your repair and replacement costs will be covered. A rental equipment protection plan can:
- Cover a loss at or below your business insurance policy deductible
- Eliminate a need to file a claim with your business insurance company should you wish not to report
- Cover the cost of rental equipment repair and replacement in many circumstances
The Rental Equipment Protection Plan from NMC The Cat Rental Store will give you an extra safety net in the event of your Cat equipment becoming damaged and needing repair or replacement. This plan will let you eliminate unnecessary costs associated with common risks to rental equipment, providing financial security and peace of mind with no deductible.
